Gift Idea No. 4: Digital Restoration and Physical Restoration of your Past

November 17, 2012

Your boxes of pictures got soaked when your basement flooded.

Your photos are faded and sun damaged.

Or, some attic creature chewed up the photo albums and made a nest.

Don’t Throw Them Out !

At Priceless Photo Preservation we can fix a wide range of physical damage to
your family’s historical artifacts.

Give us a call, and trust us. We’ve seen a lot.

While we may not be able to do anything about restoring the original physical photo to what it once was, we can create a new copy that will be just as good  — and, frequently, better. Using digital magic, we can remove the stains, water marks, perforations, wrinkles and other damage from that priceless picture.

What’s more, you will no longer have to worry about that picture being damaged, lost or destroyed ever again. Because you will have a high-resolution digital file that will serve as your backup copy. You could even make copies of that file to send to your children, parents and other relatives so that they can hang it on their walls as well.

Speaking of which, do you know that your photos may be already damaged but do not know it? Unless that picture on the wall was framed in recent years by a professional shop, that photo is being exposed regularly to UV rays which are causing it to fade, discolor and otherwise sustain long-term damage. We always suggest that your make copies of your most irreplaceable photos and/or have them reframed in shops that use special glass that protects the photos from 99 percent of all UV radiation.

Remember, any of our services are available as a gift! Any service you choose to purchase, we can provide to your friends on your behalf.

As always, if you are interested, drop us a line at pricelessphotopreservation@gmail.com  or call us at 734-219-3916. We offer pickup and drop-off service throughout southeast Michigan and northwestern Ohio. We work with photos, slides, films, videos and even family scrapbooks. We are now serving the Grand Rapids area as well with the same services.

Stay tuned for our next gift suggestion on Monday.
